Arguably the best design school in the States, RISD doesn’t need to do much in the way of recruitment. That said, its admissions book felt more like a corporate annual report than a peek into a vibrant creative community. Taking a more visual approach to the telling of the RISD story, we stripped out superfluous text and directed a series of on-location photo shoots aimed at capturing the essence of student life. The result is a streamlined piece with editorial flair that has been a hit with future, present and past students alike.
